Impossibility brought to reality
Never forgetting where we stood
Always remembering those no longer here

They say there are no words, no expressions
Perhaps their feelings are most important
Assurances that we can never relent
Pursuing those who continue to wage war
Chasing their dream and then ending it
As they dishonor all that is understood to be good
Replaying tape of the horror that was
Knowing this day will always remain solemn
