Bob The Jew
I met Bob by accident. He was sitting on the Osborn bench spouting nothings into nowhere in particular and on my second pass, I took out $20 and asked him if he’d like some money to purchase food. He accepted gracefully and we had a little chat. That chat, and our subsequent meetings, gave me inspiration to write this, my second book about the traumas of being homeless in the USA. All the characters I have met and remembered have been, and are still going through an everyday crisis that is really inexplicable and hard to comprehend. My hope is that from these pages, you, the reader, will grasp the seriousness of our current homeless pandemic and act accordingly to finally put an end to something that should have never been allowed to start in the first place. All proceeds from this book will be donated to charities that actively support a solution to homelessness around the globe.

Cardboard City
Price: $14.99
Cardboard City recounts the authors experiences from living homeless for a week on the streets of San Francisco in the early 2000’s. His first-hand account of life, living rough and penniless and having to beg for food, money and places to shelter, are captured in-depth, as he walks his way around a city where the homeless situation is seemingly out of control and bordering on pandemic status. Alan’s trials and tribulations from that week, will have the reader captivated from beginning to end. This, for him, was a once in a lifetime experience that should never be repeated by any human being and it brings to light in very dramatic fashion, just how serious and out of control the homeless situation in the United States has become. All proceeds from this book will be donated to charities that actively support a solution to homelessness around the globe.

“Hi Alan, I read Cardboard City. Thoughtful, insightful. I admire your commitment to the cause of these “lost souls.” I would like to support your efforts by making a donation. You mentioned a few organizations in the book I could donate to directly – or I could send a check to you as a part of a larger donation drive you may be working on. Just let me know. Thank you for writing this book.” — VT
