Flowers

More flowers please, no expense spared
Reds and yellows and blue’s followed by white’s and orange
Plethora of color, for the whole world to see
Paid for by love and a little bit of want
Displayed by the grace of God and of Jesus, though not the original

One by one and sometimes more, feasting grounds for waiting bees
Sticking out like the new thumb they have become
A bonus for all who pass by and take note
Sensing change by smell, and smell alone
And oh, that Jasmine, the queen of all that is now perfect
