Flashes of brilliance superseded by intelligent nonchalance
Dark and light clashing, providing internal turmoil
Unable to break away into ordinariness
Leaving a special human being to stand alone

Though time may never heal nor deliver, he moves on
Making the best of this gift, perhaps a bonus
Sheltered in parts by a naivety, sometimes crass
